Thought of the week:
Here’s a parenting tip: When you want to show off to your kids, it’s not wise to dive head first in to a pool. Especially if you are tall and the pool isn’t. Even if your wife is looking on and she thinks it looks impressive too, it really hurts when your head cracks on the bottom of the pool. And, the ambulance ride that follows (while a bit exciting) really scares the young ones. Headfirst diving. Don’t do it.

and finally in the immortal words of motor-sport commentator Murray Walker, “And I interrupt myself to bring you this…”

I owe you
Writing new music, leading a family, writing a blog… these things don’t just ‘happen’ without intentionality. For a long while I’ve been planning to blog but haven’t done anything about it. I NEED to do this – for no other reason than to honour the friends who so generously helped me get this project off the ground. It’s coming.
Gimme 2 weeks. That’s a promise.
Your first present this Christmas
Oh the weather outside is… fantastic!
I’m enjoying a nice snowy day in Vancouver, and before it turns into freezing rain and slush I thought I’d post my first blog with one of the funniest songs I’ve heard in a long time. It may help you get into that Christmas spirit. Enjoy!
Musicians should especially enjoy this. It sounds like my old Jr. High band.
Seriously, you’ve got to be good to sound this bad.
