Phil Vanderveen is a Canadian vocalist residing in Langley BC who enjoys entertaining and performing in a wide variety of styles for all ages.

His versatility has allowed him a broad range of musical experiences, ranging from being a big band crooner to a children's entertainer, folk singer, voice over actor and studio vocalist.  He is a frequent clinician, conference speaker, conductor, wedding singer, and band leader. He has most recently become a vocal coach for children, youth, and adults and he loves helping people discover their own voice.  He was also a church music director for 23 years as part of the pastoral team at Peace Portal Alliance church in Surrey BC.   With a sincere appreciation for a variety of styles, Phil's music ranges from lighthearted and entertaining to soulful and inspirational.

Over the last 3 decades Phil has enjoyed collaborating with many talented musicians, and music has literally brought him from coffee shops to cathedrals and allowed him to travel into parts of Canada, the US, the UK, Turkey and Thailand.

Phil currently fronts the Vancouver Groove Orchestra (VGO) and has been involved in numerous productions for other groups and over a dozen studio projects.  His own writing can be heard on his two solo albums: The Better Day (2003) and Standing With Giants (2010).  In 2015 he also released a single of his popular interpretation of the Christmas classic O Holy Night.

Along with his wife Karen and their 5 super-cool kids, Phil is involved in supporting causes that are good, right and true.   As a part of his Justice Train initiative, valuable funds are passed on to support many worthy charities on behalf of those who have purchased his music.
